Website Design and Construction

I worked with designer Karina Gataullina to design and build this website using wordpress and Semplice. It was a large undertaking, as this was the first large publication of Helen Suter’s ever. We came to a minimal design, focusing

on a white background the emulate the white walls of Helen’s studio and those of countless galleries. Helen Suter is a Swiss born artist, and the clean minimal estetic of swiss design fit her work well, with an added highlight

of bright red, harkening back to her homeland. The website is responsive with a mobile friendly design. This is key for modern websites which are often viewed on smartphones and tablets.
