design disco summer camp

Prague, Architecture Camp for High School Students

Since Design Disco began, I was imagining how our first Summer Camp would go. We began planning and designing the curriculum in 2018. However it was only in 2019 that the project became real, after I established a partnership with mmcite, a Czech furniture company. They agreed to provide

the materials and tools necessary to build the students design in full scale.

Our site was located on an island with a bear garden. Our goal was to take the students through a design sprint, beginning with no brief except to

improve the island.

The camp took place from August 1st-12th 2019, with 10 students and 5 instructors, of which I was one. In our team, I coordinated partnerships and curriculum design, as well as construction and site planning. It was amazing!
